Stavanger Airport, Sola, is Norway's fourth largest airport. It opened in 1939 and is the oldest civilian airport in the country. With roughly four million travelers a year, it is the region's main hub for transportation.

The airport has a great collection of street art. It also grows tomatoes and is engaged in its own production of honey. In addition, the airport is developing the possibility of future electric passenger aircraft.

The largest street art wall at Stavanger Airport, Sola, is 400 square meters. Even the airport's control tower is decorated with spray paint by world-renowned street artist, M-City. In collaboration with Nuart Gallery, artist Millo (Francesco Camillo Giorgino) has transformed one of the walls of the airport into a colorful and beautiful work of art of 40 x 10 meters! This colorful work of art is seen by more than three million people every year! Nuart has for several years infused a number of stunning street art pieces in the greater region of Stavanger.
