Hummeren - The lobster hotel - can be found at Tananger's inner harbour. This harbour has been a natural harbour, a base for the pilot service and a bustling trading post as far back as the 17th century. Tananger's inner harbour was put on the map with the lobster fishery and the export of lobster, hence the name Hummeren Hotel.
