The seawater pool at Myklebust
You'll hardly find a more delightful swimming spot than the seawater pool at Myklebust in Tananger. Built in 2015, the sea bath has been in use during the summer seasons since then. Fresh seawater circulates through the pool. It has been designed with minimal intervention in nature and seamlessly harmonizes with the surrounding coastal landscape. The pool has a soft sandy bottom, providing a pleasant swimming experience.
If you prefer less sand and calmer waters, you can find yourself a delightful spot along Hafrsfjord. Ormen Lange is a beloved and family-friendly spot and a good place to swim. Enjoy soft grassy areas, a playground, a sand volleyballcourt, and facilities for grilling and seating.
