The Kite Festival 8–9 June 2024
The Kite Festival at Hellestø is Norway's oldest kite festival
Ever since 1990, Sola drageklubb has organized a spectacular kite festival on the beach. In June, thousands of people gather at Hellestø beach to watch the beautiful kites fill the air. The day before the festival, a kite workshop is organized for everyone who wants to make their own kite. Every year, professional kite fliers are invited to the festival.
